Nothing new here: still a SGI O2 with the 250 MHz processor and with some 1024 MB of the RAM. I already have a 270 MHz processor available (it’s a newer MIPS R12000) but I still don’t decided to do the upgrade as the new processor has active cooling which can make the whole box more noisy (the ol R10000 has only passive cooling). And I’m not sure if the new processor will make things noticeably faster.
Anyway, the software is still the same. After some years I returned to use of audio CDs. The quality of the internal speaker is quite good (albeit the good old Indy has much nicer sound subsystem) so it makes sense to use such things.
